Nestled in the Northumberland National Park sits the Coach House. It sits on the outskirts of Otterburn and Otterburn Training Camp so the area is wild.
It also sits in a designated dark area and on a clear night you can see the Milky Way. Sadly the only Milky Way I saw was the chocolate wrapper a real shame.
It sits opposite an old inn that has seen better days. Mother Nature has taken over, but the wildlife is spectacular.
The Coach House has in need of a bit of TLC but the rooms themselves were very comfortable and had all the amenities that you need. E.G. TV, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer.
The bed was very comfortable and it didn't take me long to fall asleep that's for sure.
I paid £68 for the room which didn't include breakfast. However, at the time I left I don't think the kitchen was up and running.
Definitely worth booking for one night maybe two and it's a walkers and cyclists paradise around there.
